This vintage photograph depicts a stacked pile of animal skulls, horns and parts, trophies of a Victorian big game hunter. Effectively depicts the results of poaching in Africa, which continues to be a major problem today. Original photograph by taxidermist Rowland Ward (1835 - 1912). Some film grain and age spots left for antique quality. It was published in an 1876 history of Arab culture and is now in the public domain. Digital restoration by Steven Wynn Photography.
