Paradise Bay, Antarctica - 20th, January 2013: Two antarctic explorers riding in Inflatable Zodiac boat. Adélie penguin colony visible in the background.
This photograph was taken in the vicinity of Chilean González Videla Base in Paradise Bay, Antarctic Peninsula. It is now an "inactive" base, with fuel and supplies in storage in the buildings for emergency use, or in case the base were to be reactivated in the future. Occasional summer visits are made by Chilean scientist and tourists.
