Description

Original antique copper engraved map by H. Moll, titled “Persia Sive Shahistan”, published in 1747 for the "Universal History" (London, T. Osborne & J. Shipton, 8 vols., 1747). This volume contains the history of the Persians with this fold out map.
Thomas Jefferys (Gefferys) (circa 1710 -1771) One of the most important British map publishers in the eighteenth-century. In 1748 he was appointed Geographer to Frederick, Prince of Wales and later to King George III.

This wonderful map forms part of my personal collection and can be used for historical and geographical studies also to illustrate political boundaries.
