Description
The Arch of Constantine stands just outside the Roman Colosseum and was built by the Senate in 315 A.D. to honor the victories of the Emperor Constantine, specifically the Battle of Milvian Bridge. It is also the only known arch to have successfully reused sculptures taken from other monuments.
