Description
"Canadian wolves are members of the species gray wolf (Canis lupus). Canis lupus arctos (Arctic islands and Greenland), are also known as Arctic wolves or white wolves. Most of the wolves in Canada's high Arctic have fur best described as creamy white. White hair shafts have more air pockets than those with pigmentation and provide better insulation in a cold climate."
