'Audley End House is a 17th century English Stately home, close by to Cambridge, although in the county of Essex. It was once a palace in all but name and is renowned as one of the finest Jacobean houses in England and is now owned by the nation. The parkland grounds were mostly designed by Capability Brown and are divided by the River Cam, which is crossed by several ornate bridges one of which was designed in typical Palladian style by Robert Adam. The estate is also renowned for the 1832 parterre garden as seen in front in front of this facade.'
