New York, NY, USA - January 1, 2011: The 1,200 ft tall Bank of America Tower, with spire, at One Bryant Park, New York, NY 10036 viewed from across the Bryant Park ice skating rink in Midtown Manhattan. The Bank of America Tower is the second tallest building in New York City, after the Empire State Building, and is located on the corner of 42nd Street and 6th Avenue (also known as the Avenue of the Americas). The Bank of America Tower was designed by Cook+Fox Architects, New York and received the 2010 Best Tall Building Americas award by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat. The green glass building on the left is 1095 6th Avenue, a mixed use office building. Citi Pond at Bryant Park, previously known as The Pond, is an ice skating rink sponsored by Citibank open to the public October 29, 2010 - February 27, 2011.
