Beautiful White Rock , lower mainland, suburb of Vancouver.White Rock is named from the White Bolder on the beach, near the walk way. This rock was moved from glaciation during the last ice age. Around 500 tons, granit bolder. It was used as a beacon or land mark in the old days so fishing boats could find the harbour. Early morning image taken from a tripod, I waited at this scene,for the first light to hit the rock, a orange glow.
