Belfast City Hall in sunlight against a dark gray sky. The statue to the right is Sir Daniel Dixon. He served as Mayor of Belfast in 1892 and as Lord Mayor of Belfast in 1893 and from 1901 to 1903 and from 1905 to 1906. In 1902 he was created a Baronet, of Ballymenock in the County of Antrim. He was also a Member of Parliament for Belfast North as a Ulster Unionist from 1905 to 1907. Other famous statues in the ground include Queen Victoria, the Titanic Memorial and Sir Edward Harland, former head of Harland and Wolff shipbuilding yard, who built the Titanic.
