Lagalb, Switzerland- February 04, 2012: The Bernina Express, the Bernina Pass, between Lagalb and Bernina Hospice in ride to Tirano, Italy
The Bernina Express is the only train in Switzerland, who completed a crossing of the Alps. The Bernina Express is one of the tourist highlights of the Rhaetian Railway. The Bernina Express route traveled by the Albula and Bernina railway line was awarded in summer 2008 as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Bernina Hospice to the track rises to a height of 2,253 m above sea level. M., and then transferred into multiple loops through alpine downhill Grüm Puschlav. End of the train is the only 429 m above sea Tirano in Italy.
