Description
This is a specialty short grain black rice which when cooked turns a deep purple color (it really does, I finally cooked some). It is its natural color - it hasn't been dyed. It's called forbidden rice because it supposedly used to be grown only for the Chinese emperor. It is a whole grain. Isolated on white.
