Boca Chica Village, Texas, USA - December 30, 2012: Only a few people live year-round at the unincorporated village of Boca Chica near the Gulf of Mexico at the southernmost tip of Texas. In the background is the Port of Brownsville. This remote area is near the mouth of the Rio Grande and international boundary with Mexico.
The unincorporated village of Boca Chica is located at the remote, southernmost tip of Texas near where the Rio Grande pours into the Gulf of Mexico. Only a few people live in the village year-round. The Port of Brownsville can be seen in the background.
