Tokyo, Japan - October 12, 2012: Old man lighting incense sticks in front of buddhist shrine near the Honmonji temple during Oeshiki festival in Tokyo Japan. This Buddhist festival is celebrated in October every year in many places in Japan. But the one portrayed in the picture that goes from the Ikejami train station to Ikejami Honmonji temple is the most famous one. More than 300.000 people congregate on this night to commemorate High Priest Nichiren death more than 700 years ago. People of all ages carry big portable shrines decorated with paper lanterns that resemble cherry blossom and dance play music and sing. The parade ends at the Honmonji temple where it is believed is the place where Nichire died.
