A molecular model of the cross section through a cell membrane.
All living things are made of cells. Individual cells are surrounded by a membrane which keeps the contents separate from the environment and regulates what chemicals enter and leave the cell. The cell membrane is made of a double layer of fatty molecules derived from fatty acids and triglycerides.
Isolated on white.
