Description

Orange colored river in the 'Barranco de las Angustias', Ravine of the distresses/fear, a gorge where the water comes down from the Caldera de Taburiente, in the heart of La Palma Island. Everyone can enjoy the natural beauty of this canyon: walking along the trail, you will pass among cliffs, near waterfalls and ponds and repeatedly cross the river, whose yellow or orange colors are the result of the strong presence of minerals in the water. The trail is impossible with heavy rain. Caldera de Taburiente National Park, La Palma, Canary Islands, Spain.
