Description
A view of Dent Head Viaduct near Dent, Cumbria - in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The viaduct is part of the Settle to Carlisle Line and was built between 1869 and 1875. It was constructed from Dent marble and crosses the quarry from which the marble was extracted.
