Eugene, Oregon, USA – May 2, 2012: In the urban town of Eugene, OR the local Emergency Services and National Guard work together in a disaster response drill. The firemen are transporting the injured on backboards using the cart to a point where they will be transported to the hospital. This fireman is looking at the injury card to check the status of the injured.
Any way in providing constant monitoring of the injured/sick and transporting service connected to a medical facility is crucial in helping with quick response in an emergency. The minutes saved with this kind of transport can make the difference between life and death.
