Description

An agarose gel with stained DNA fragments is illuminated by UV-light. The DNA fragments were stained with ethidium bromide. Ethidium bromide intercalates between double stranded DNA and upon excitation with UV-light it transmits orange fluorescence light. All dust is brightly accentuated by the UV-light too.
