Silverton, United States - June 16, 2013: Locomotive No. 482 approaches the terminus of the Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad at Silverton, Colorado, USA. The railroad now operates as a tourist attraction carrying passengers over the 45 miles of 3 ft gauge track between Silverton and Durango. The line was originally built to service mining operations in the San Juan Mountains. Locomotive No, 482 is one of the K-36 class Mikado 2-8-2 steam locomotives designed for the D&RGW (Denver & Rio Grande Western) and built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1925.
