This old, abandoned, farmhouse is located on a hill in a green field along Highway 152, which is located west of Cordell, Oklahoma. The wood frame house is minus most of its shingles, the windows, and one of its two front doors. The main part of the house is two-story and has a smaller, one-story room added on to one side. Rather than standing straight and tall, strong Oklahoma winds have forced the house to lean noticeably over to one side, but not knock it to the ground. It can be seen from a long distance and depicts endurance against all odds, since it remains intact and standing, in spite of Oklahoma winds that caused it to lean over to one side. To the right of the house is a dead tree. To the left can be seen a cluster of dead trees, more green fields, and a small rural community in the distance. The sky is pale blue with no clouds.
