'The Hague, Netherlands - September 19, 2012: traffic passing the illuminated facade of the Royal Theatre, in Dutch called Koninklijke Schouwburg, at Korte Voorhout in The Hague. The theatre opened in 1804 in a city palace dating from 1766. Following a huge renovation project from 1997 to 1999 a modern theatre emerged. Despite the alterations the theatre was able to preserve its original 19th century character. The theatre presents exceptional international productions which are outside the scope of its regular programme.'
