Boise, Idaho, USA - April 14, 2012: In the rear alleys of downtown Boise some of the Freak Alley Mural Project artwork by local artists are seen on the rear walls of shops, restaurants and empty stores.
The Freak Alley Mural Project has become an annual event in the alleys of downtown Boise, Idaho, Western, USA. The public display commences with a week long community art event by local artists who paint large murals on the back walls of restaurants, retail shops and empty stores. The event concludes with a night of music, food and a festival atmosphere in the alleys behind Bannock and Idaho Streets, from Eighth to Ninth Streets.
