Frederick tower is one of four Martello Towers build around the harbour of Kingston, Ontario between 1846 and 1848 to protect the city from an American attack. It sits in the middle of Fort Frederick, on Point Frederick, home to the campus of the Royal Military College of Canada. It is open as the museum of RMC today. In the distance to the right: the harbour of Kingston.
