Description
Nice illustration of a clump, or bed, of stinging nettles Urtica dioica.

Stinging nettles can be used as food (rather like spinach), and to stimulate human skin. A traditional antidote to relieve the sting of a nettle is to rub the affected area with a dock leaf.
