Kaokoveld, Namibia - July 17th, 2009: Himba boy at his village near Opuwo. Namibia. Himbas are the last nomadic people in Namibia
The Himba are a small ethnic nomadic group of about 50000 people living in the north of Namibia. The women cover themselves with a mix of butter fat and red pigment, which gives their skin a reddish tinge. Women wear headdresses with many streams of braided hair, coloured with red pigment.
