Young, Canada - August 27, 2012: Vertical image of grain cars sitting on a Canadian National Railways spur line southeast of Saskatoon between the town of Young, Saskatchewan and the Colonsay Potash mine. Cars are stored on this line for extended periods of time as this section of track is not often used. Cars are then pulled into service from this point. There is a spectacular amount of graffiti on the cars on this line. Cars are marked to indicate ownership by either provincial or national agencies.
Horizontal image of long line of dedicated grain railcars stored on a little used rural siding in Canada. Many of these cars are marked as belonging to the Canadian government’s 9000+ hopper car fleet.
