Description
Photo showing an old Bath stone house, where the wall and windows have been allowed to be covered with the vigorous climber, Virginia creeper. This climbing plant is regularly trimmed during the summer, so that it does not completely cover the leaded windows. In the autumn, the leaves turn a fiery red, before falling. Of note, the Latin name for Virginia creeper is: Parthenocissus quinquefolia.
