Description

Iguazu or Iguassu or Iguaçu Falls sit on the Iguazu River that separates Brazil from Argentina. There are approximately 150 to 300 waterfalls (depending on the water level) that span an area of 2.7 Km width. Eighty percent of the falls are located in Argentina and 20% are in Brazil. The normal water flow is around 1756 cubic meters/second. There are several catwalks and overlooks along both sides of the Iguazu River. The view on the Argentine side is mainly up and close, along the top of the falls.
