Cairo, Egypt - February 2, 2011: On a particularly bloody day of the Egyptian Revolution in which pro-Mubarak forces attacked anti-government protestors in Tahrir Square with rocks, knives, and occasional gunfire, this young man returned to the protest after having an injury treated. His smile reflected hope and the refusal to be cowed by fear. Nine days later President Mubarak would resign, and what protestors like this young man accomplished would send shock waves to neighboring countries.
