The Katarina Church in Stockholm, Sweden. The church was constructed between 1656-1695. It has been destroyed twice by fire, the first time in 1723 and the second time as late as 1990. In the 1990 fire the roof and tower with bell chrashed down into the nave and only the outer walls remained. It was rebuilt with old techniques and materials and opened again in 1995. It is named after Princes Chaterine, mother of King Charles X Gustav of Sweden. The image was photographed on a cloudy day and is slighty cross processed.
