Focus is on the man wearing an orange plastic crown. Queen's day is a national holiday in the Netherlands on 30 April. Queen's Day celebrates the birthday of the Queen of the Netherlands and is supposed to be a day of national unity and togetherness.Around 1 million visitors flock to Amsterdam on this day, mainly to enjoy free outdoor parties and concerts and to visit a massive flea market; everywhere in the city people are selling their secondhand goods on the street. Many people dress in orange, the national colour, representing the royal family.
