Leiston, England - April 28, 2013: Leiston Abbey is an impressive monastic ruins and has some extraordinary architectural features. The abbey, established in 1182, moved to this location in the 14th century. Some of the old abbey building materials were used which is why the new abbey has some Norman features. The ruins are on the outskirts of the Suffolk village Leiston. The abbey is overseen by English Heritage.
