Description

Letter of indulgence from the year 1455. Printed by Johannes Gutenberg, with his first printing press. Issued by Johannn von Ytstein, doctor of theology, a member of the Cistercian Order, and priest of the Sebalduskirche in Nuremberg. The initials and the larger words are hand written. Accurate faksimile after a parchment from my archive, published in 1881.
