Frankfurt am Main, Germany - April 28, 2011: Lottery booth at the Dippemess in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The Dippemess is the biggest traditional carnival in Frankfurt. It takes place two times a year, one in spring and one in autumn. For the first time it was mentioned in the 14th century as a market for pottery from the Westerland, the Kannebaeckerland and the Urberach. The name Dippemess comes from the word Dippe of the Frankfurt dialect, which means pottey products. Nowdays there is only a small place where you find pottery. The main business depends on amusement park rides like rollercoasters and scooters. You see a Lottery booth with a man selling fortunes.
