It currently has 73,531 seats for the World Cup 2014, respecting the FIFA standards for worldwide competitions.
Description
The Maracana football stadium in the city of Rio de Janeiro, the Brazilian state of the same name, will host the World Cup in 2014, where the final will be played games organized and managed by FIFA competition. Its current capacity is 73,531 spectators, after being remodeled into three periods, the latter between 2011 and 2013.
