A plant tissue cell of the stem of a pumpkin is viewed at a microscopic level. The micrograph shows the cells in bright pink over a black background. The pink cell has a large hole in the middle. The cell flares out to the sides in six different places. Two of these parts are much wider than the others. Parts of the pink plant tissue are thin enough to look like mesh. Small oval holes are visible in other parts of the pink cell, while other parts of it are solid pink.
