PENZANCE, UNITED KINGDOM - SEPTEMBER 17: A pair of shoes are left on a window sill as members of Cambridge University's Gilbert and Sullivan Society rest and relax backstage as they perform 'The Yeomen Of The Guard' at the Minack Theatre's penultimate summer matinee performance at the Minack Theatre on September 17 2008 in Cornwall, England. The operatic production - which ends tomorrow - will finish the World famous open-air theatre's worst season on record for cancellations and abandoned performances, caused by the unusually wet and unsettled summer weather. The theatre, built by Rowena Cade in the 1930s and carved into the granite cliffs above the sea at Porthcurno, attracts about 75,000 theatre-goers every summer to watch summer performances - ranging from Shakespeare to musicals which are held from May until September, although the grounds and exhibition centre are open all year.
