Description
Modena Cathedral is a Romanesque Roman Catholic cathedral church in Modena, Italy. It is the cathedral, or duomo in Italian, of the Archdiocese of Modena-Nonantola. Consecrated in 1184, it is one of the most important Romanesque buildings in Europe and a World Heritage Site. Lion statues support the gates' columns. The lion statues at the main entrance are of roman age.
