Description
The Maryhill Stonehenge is a replica of England's Stonehenge. It was commissioned in the early 20th century by the wealthy railroad executive and entrepreneur Sam Hill who was also a Quaker pacifist. The memorial was dedicated on July 4, 1918 to the people who died in World War I. The Maryhill Stonehenge is located near Maryhill, Washington State, USA.
