Description
"Looking straight down into the face of a mountain dandelion, Agoseris glauca. Note the hairs toward the center of the blossom and the intricate anthers. This native perennial grows at higher altitudes in the Rocky Mountains, but can be found in the foothills and montane areas, usually in meadows. The flower heads are usually 1 to 2 inches wide and the sap from the stems has been used as a poultice for sores. Focus is on the center of the blossom."
