Description

'Mushrooms growing indoors in a climatically controlled environment. Farmers are having to find more ways to earn a living away from the traditional areas of livestock and wheat. Growing mushrooms is one such area. These are brown cap mushrooms. Mushroom spores are impregnated into bales of straw, a layer of peat is spread over the straw which is then watered and under tightly controlled air quality conditions the mushrooms grow in total darkness, taking about a week to 10 days to grow to a size that can be cropped.'
