Description
Please note: The attached Property Release has NO copyright date because there is no notice in the whole book. It was was published without a date. But the "L'Ornement Polychrome" was the most extensive published compendium of decoration, and was so successful that a second volume was published in 1883. The First Series were published in 1863. Both Series were published by Albert Charles Auguste Racinet (1825-1893) a french designer, lithographer and art historian. Paris: Librairie de Firmin-Didot et Cie. Photographed and edited by J. C. Rosemann.
