Wroclaw, Poland, 19th June 2014. Holiday of the Corpus Christi get around of 60 days after the Easter. People celebrate the Feast of Body and Blood of Christ marching down the streets of town, praying and singing. On the photo the faithful Catholics tearing the branches of a birch consecrated by a priest during the religious celebration. The faithful believe in medicinal and protective powers of the branches. The procession took place in Ostrów Tumski (clergy district of city of Wroclaw in Lower Silesia in Poland).
