Remarkable rock petroglyph etched by a Sinagua Native American Indian - dating to approximately 1200AD. Presumably a man walking with the aid of a staff and wearing a widely brimmed hat to protect from the sun or carrying a load of some sort and balancing it with his arm. The storytelling glyphs appear on Schnebly Formation Sandstone rock face in Rarick Canyon, which was along an important travel route for the ancient Sinagua peoples traveling from above the Mogollon Rim. These early Native Americans inhabited the northern Arizona region between 500AD and 1400AD. Yavapai County, Arizona, 2013.
