Cedar Falls, Iowa, USA - August 23, 1958: Port Huron 24-75 steam traction engine built in 1921 being driven in the Threshermen's Field Days parade. A steam engine like this would have been used to power a threshing machine or other farm machinery. Although steam engines and steam tractors were used in the US until the late 1930s and early 40s, collector goups were already forming by the time this photo was taken in 1958 to preserve steam engines and tractors.
