Sydney, Australia - September 23, 2012: Queen Victoria Building.George McRae designed the Queen Victoria Building that was completed in 1898. The Queen Victoria building is also commonly referred to as the QVB. The Building was built as a memorial for Queen Victoria of England. It is built in a Victorian styles. The building is situated in the heart of Sydney's CBD, it takes up an entire block bound by George, Market, York and Druitt Streets. The dominant feature of the building is the mighty centre dome, consisting of an inner glass dome and an exterior copper- sheathed dome.
