Description
Qutub Minar or Qutb Minar in Delhi, is the tallest minaret in India made of sandstone and marble. Construction started in 1192. Height is 72 m. Next to the minaret stand the 7 m (23 ft) high iron pillar (around 1600 years old) notable for the rust-resistant composition of the metals used in its construction.
