Guatavita, Colombia - May 12, 2014: A restaurant on the square adjacent to the main square in the Andean town of Guatavita in the Cundinamarca department of the South American country of Colombia. There is a small hotel above the restaurant in the same building. Although the town was constructed less than 50 years ago, it was designed and built in the classical colonial spanish style of architecture. In the background, there are some houses. A waiter serves some guests at table set outside the restaurant; a couple of people walk by. Located at an elevation of 8660 feet above sea level, and about a 90 minute drive from the capital city of Bogota, Guatavita is today a popular tourist destination with both local Colombians and international tourists.
