Generic statue of a roman lady at Casa de Pilatos.
(Pilate's House) was built in the very early 1500s by the first Marques of Tarifa. He was inspired by a journey through Europe. Although this site was never really Pontius Pilate's house, it's the traditional site because parts of it were modeled after sketches of his summer palace. Moorish, Gothic and Renaissance style mixed together.
