London, England - April 6, 2011: A row of "Boris's Bikes", as they are affectionately known, parked in the Strand, London. The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, has introduced a cycle-hire scheme in conjunction with Barclay's Bank, to encourage people to cycle in London instead of using their cars, thereby reducing traffic congestion, pollution and parking problems. Around 6,000 bikes are stored at 400 docking stations like this one.
